Secondly, I would rather not clutter up my Facebook page for this purpose and Twitter is just plain silly. Although I do have a Twitter account as a result of a Technology class I took at SUNY Fredonia (Thank you DrKG).
So on to more interesting topics... Let's see... How about the Buffalo Bills? Yesterday, I joined the thousands of other Western New Yorkers in their chorus of blank stares and pulling of hair at the hiring of Chan Gailey as the next Head Coach for the Buffalo Bills. But it gets worse. Today, ESPN reports that a number of respected coaches, such as Marty Schottenheimer and Brian Billick, were ignored by the Bills' front office. Click here to read the story reported by Tim Graham Why weren't these coaches saying anything to the press while everyone else was turning the Bills down? If you can't get Brian Shottenheimer, why not go after his dad, who probably taught him everything he knows about football?

What is going on in Orchard Park? Is Buddy Nix so deafened by his own weasel-like southern accent that he can't hear a good coach asking for a job? HE was right in his press conference when he said that we wouldn't believe the coaches that called him asking for interviews. Nothing against Chan, but it makes me sick to my stomach that they seemed to settle for less than what was set out for.

On another note, Governor Patterson, a blubbering idiot who has no business running anything, let alone the State of New York, has decided to once again cut funding from the state's education system. Not only is he cutting from education but also health care and the SUNY system. He says "the era of irresponsibility has ended..." Really? You mean it, Patterson? You're really going to step down from office? That would be a RESPONSIBLE thing to do. Come on! You know its bad when President Obama tells you that its time to get the hell out.
